  • Great app but I can think of a few improvements

    By LilWolfBear (Pcmac user)

I like the app, especially the easy options for adding groceries and already existing foods. I love the recipes that are listed for the items I have. I haven’t tried the grocery list part yet. One improvement I would like for this app would be to allow people to add their own recipes, and the ability to link grocery items to those recipes.
  • Really hoping this app will improve

    By Naeyliu (Pcmac user)

I love the concept of doing inventory and connecting it with Alexa. This app is full of potential, but I’m disappointed that some features are gone after the latest update and some are not working well. -There should be a much easier way such as a slider or voice command to update the amount of an item. Now I have to click on the item and re-type the amount, and somehow a duplicate will be created. If I delete the duplicate, then the original item will be deleted as well-very confusing. -The recipe function is not sensitive enough for keywords. For example, I have “sea salt” in my Pantry, but a recipe that requires “salt” won’t recognize it. -The app has crashed a few times when I try to view the items in a category I created. -When scanning barcodes, the expiration dates and categories are inaccurate (e.g. chicken broth is categorized as Dairy). Although I can change the categories and dates manually, it’s time-consuming. What’s the point of scanning if I end up typing the whole thing? -No response on the scanning receipt function. -The default icons are dull. They used to be in different shapes. -Not sure what the correct command is to ask Alexa what items I have in a certain category such as Seafood. I could love this app. Please improve!
  • Could be great

    By Victizard (Pcmac user)

I was so excited when I saw this app advertised! I went through my entire pantry and fridge (took over an hour) adding everything into “my pantry” in the app. Chose the “vegan” diet selection and ended up with 4 recipes. One was for tilapia. Fish which is not even vegan. I removed the vegan option and ended up with a couple more actually vegan recipes (why they didn’t pop up originally, I do not know) but I still only had about 15 recipes total now including options I don’t eat anyway. There’s so much potential here. Perhaps if it can be linked online to all the recipes the wife wonderful web has available instead of what is just in the app? Idk, but I hate I wasted all this time to end up with almost nothing. I’m not creative but I have a TON of food. I just wanted help with ideas on how to use it. Guess I’ll keep looking!
  • Keeps deleting my shopping list

    By Dog_mom14 (Pcmac user)

I’m really frustrated with this app. It would be exactly what I need if it didn’t keep deleting my ENTIRE shopping list that I painstakingly made the night before only to find that it disappeared when I’m at the grocery store. Also, for some reason my cookbook is blank. I can’t search for anything even though I have entered in an extensive pantry list (which is about the only thing that works on this app for me). It also has problems connecting to Alexa no matter how many times I reinstall the app. It used to work a few months ago but when I installed one of the updates it has just refused to work for me :( very disappointing.
