Software Features and Description

1. -Weekly and hourly snowmaking forecast that displays the high and low wet bulb temperature for the week ahead, and indicates what hours and days you can make snow.

2. -Animated GUI to indicate in real time when snowmaking is possible, and what snow quality you can expect.

3. -Support for Thermodo thermometer sensor for accurate on-slope readings (requires access to microphone).

4. -The wet bulb is calculated automatically by weather data based on your location.

5. -Weather data can be entered manually to simulate conditions.

6. This is my first app, and I built it around my passion for snowmaking.

7. I have many more ideas for this app, and I will continue to add new functionalities & revisions.

Install SnowMaking Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SnowMaking Pro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SnowMaking Pro"
The search will reveal the SnowMaking Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SnowMaking Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SnowMaking Pro.
Now enjoy SnowMaking Pro on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native SnowMaking Pro Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SnowMaking Pro,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SnowMaking Pro" » then Click "Install".
- SnowMaking Pro will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- None mentioned in the review

☹ Cons:

- The app is currently not working due to an API update by The Weather Channel

- The app only accepts input on one line, making it difficult to use for accurate weather data

- The app does not allow users to select a weather station or manually input data

- The app is not worth the $0.99 price tag

- The pro version of the app also does not work

- The developer has not fixed the issue despite complaints from users.

Sorry everyone! I have been too busy with work to fix my old app. I will be fixing it this winter and making it free. The weather channel updated their API and it now breaks the app :( happy the app
App crashes after IOS update

I’m not sure which one caused it because I only use this in the winter months but some time over the summer of 2019 the app stopped working. It’s happening to both my snow making apps: Snow-Maker and the app. I have a feeling this was a side project by someone years ago that loved to make snow for their kids and the kids have all grown up and the app is no longer used by them.

The app works but it only accepts input on line. Since local weather is usually for the valleys the app is worthless even if you are standing on the slopes. You need to be able to 1) select the weather station to use AND 2) be able to manually input data for this app to be worth even the $0.99 they charge for it!

Hey bud, you need to fix your app! I got the free one and figured no big deal when it didn’t work, so I purchased the pro version. Guess what? It don’t work either. Apple should remove your apps from their store and you should fix the problem or get a career programming bubblegum machines
