Amazing App! (But formatting flaw on iPhone XS Max)

I came across this app and access to it through First Book Marketplace. It has been an amazing tool for not only myself but also my students. Being able to provide them with free access to a variety of e-books that they can read on the go has definitely changed my students interest in reading for the better. However, there is a formatting issue with the taxed on the iPhone XS Max. The top line of each page gets cut out because of the notch! I really hope this formatting issue is fixed soon!
Open Ebooks on the iPhone X

On the iPhone X, the app this app is great. However, one problem that I witness every time I try to read on the app is, the app cuts off some of the top text because of the notch on the iPhone X. The text on top of the page is unreadable because of this problem. Hopefully you can change this so I, along with the many other “Book Lovers” can get back to reading as soon as possible. Thanks.

I find it difficult to read due to the notches at the top cutting off text. Please fix this.

This is a great app... for everyone who doesn’t have an iPhone X or higher. It’s been over a year since my school has raised the issue of this incompatibility, with little more than “We are aware of the issue and it should be resolved shortly.” I wish I could recommend this app for my students, but it just doesn’t work.
