Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Dreamscope. on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Dreamscope."
The search will reveal the Dreamscope. app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Dreamscope. is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Dreamscope..

I love this app, and I can truly say that the community who uses this app is made up of the most kind, supportive and encouraging artists I have yet to find in an app community. I am only about five weeks in as far as using this app so I am still learning the ropes, but bc I am a lover of filters, it has become one of my most favorite of all of the apps that I use. As a professional photographer who started out in the darkroom, it’s difficult to press a button and wait to see what happens with my original image bc I feel as though I am giving up any and all control over the end result of the photo. It would be great if there were a preview of what each filter will look like on a particular photograph rather than having to shoot in the dark each time. I do love the fact that you can see the original image and make your own custom filters. Just in the past week, this app has become sooooo slow in processing the images I put in. It takes days at times before I can see what this app and I have created. It’s causing me to not use the app as often and to use other apps such as Photo Lab Pro, which gives instant image processing.
Unusably slow now. Can’t recommend.

This used to be a really amazing app. I used to be able to get results back in a few minutes. Now, however, as others have noted, it takes hours to days to get a single photo back, if at all. This breaks the “trial and error” cycle completely and makes the app basically unusable, even as a demo for the advanced version. I am absolutely not going to pay $9.99 PER MONTH to upgrade to their advanced version when the evidence suggests that they can’t even make the version that I already have work adequately. (Plus, I absolutely despise mandatory forced arbitration clauses in non-negotiated contracts and the many pages of scary legalese that one has to agree to to use the service which was somehow not necessary to use the app itself.) This company does not appear to respect its customers much, and if it continues to behave this way, it won’t have many left. A pity, since the original app was really quite nifty, and if they had treated me well, I might well have been willing to pay extra money for use of an advanced version from time to time (but probably not as a subscription).

This is one of my favorite apps and I have created some lovely pictures with it. The fact that it is so slow is an issue of course. I am used to that and usually continue with a different picture and a different app and wait patiently. What I am disgusted with is the complete lack of interest from the creators of this app in helping people to fix glitches and solve problems. I have had eleven pictures with a constantly turning circle ‘processing’ for a week now and have contacted creator three times on the designated form about this. I can’t get into the pictures to delete them and they are very distracting. The fact that I am paying for use of this app and am having to deal with the irresponsible attitude from app designers is disappointing

I want to love this app but it is just glitch after glitch. From download and first login: login via Facebook! Except it takes you into a never ending loop between the two apps (bounced back and forth between the two 12 times before I gave up). Register for a new account! Except the keyboard completely covers the boxes you need to fill in so you have no idea what you’re doing. To create a picture you just guess at it — there is no preview. And then you wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. The final products can be nice but I don’t understand why it is so sloooooow. *edited to lower score even further. I have now created 4 images. I guess. Who knows, since you can’t actually view them? I can see that I have 4 posts but see no images. I try to search for my user name and it takes me to my profile. I tried scrolling through the posts and went through a few days’ worth without seeing my images. What the heck? This app is useless.
