  • Excellent organizing tool

    By Desmond W. (Pcmac user)

Are you nerdy about organizing your life? Will you spend hours building a system and workflow in order to save yourself just a few minutes every time you touch a certain task? Do you like to have things in their right place? This app is designed specifically around the GTD method, and in my experience with trialing all sorts of options out there I believe this app does the best job following the system created by David Allen. For those new to GTD, as I am, the process takes a unique approach to task management which requires an initial investment of time and consideration to lay out a map for how to best integrate it into your life. For instance, I spent a full weekend working on integrating it into my email systems (Outlook Exchange for work and Gmail at home) as well as building a system that fits my needs within this app, and today I continue to find ways to tweak the system for increasing productivity. Read or listen to the book first, otherwise this app may be confusing for you.
  • Best all-round GTD app

    By jondis96 (Pcmac user)

I’ve tried them all, and I keep coming back to this app. It is the most elegant GTD app out there (with cross-platform support). As I’m a Windows guy, I can’t use some of the task managers out there that only support Mac and IOS (this app has a great web app as well). The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is the app is updated very rarely, which makes me slightly concerned about the longtime viability of the service. Also, the only missing feature I would like to see is tighter integration with calendars - Google Calendar and Office 365 to name two.

I absolutely LOVE this app! It is the PERFECT supplement to ā€œGetting Things Doneā€ by David Allen and it also the perfect supplement to my very own physical real world inbox and ticker file. I use this app to run my small business more than any other app on my phone. Those NEXT ACTIONS are CRUCIAL to my RGA’s (revenue generating activities) in Wholesaling real estate. This app even helps me make sure I’m completing all my online training at Real Estate World Wide. I absolutely LOVE IT. The customer service/support is also VERY VERY quick and responsive in correcting any technical conflicts with the upgrade. And this app is VERY well worth the upgrade if you have read the book that goes with it. Great work! šŸ‘šŸ½
  • My favorite todo app

    By JoshBeck (Pcmac user)

I’m a big fan of the GTD workflow. And, I have the challenge of needing something that works on iOS and Windows. Omnifocus is a very nice app, but has no real Windows compatibility. My options for real GTD apps for both platforms are pretty limited. One of my favorite features of this app is the ability to snooze todo items. Keeping my view focused on what is actionable is very helpful for me. I would love some additional polish on the iOS interface, but any glitches I’ve found don’t bother me much.
