What is THETA+? THETA+ is an app that allows you to crop and edit 360° images after shooting them. You can view and present these images in creative and new ways that conventional cameras cannot provide. The app also provides basic video editing functions and allows you to share edited images and videos easily on social media platforms.
1. Using a button alone, you can transform a 360° image into an earth-like shape called a Little Planet, an image on two screens, or a soratama, so that it is possible to make a 360° image attractive contents easier to present.
2. ・While checking a 360° image by rotating it, you can adjust the overall colors using image correction or filter functions.
3. ・You can present a more enjoyable 360° image by adding a stamp or text to it.
4. Adjusting viewpoint positions or zoom amounts, you can change presentations of a 360° image dynamically.
5. You can create an animation from a still image by drawing close or pulling in a 360° image and rotating it.
6. Since the image is saved as a video after being edited, you can share a 360°-rotated image in a non-360° environment.
7. ・You can create a time lapse video easily by combining multiple 360° images.

- Key frames are helpful for editing
- Custom animation features are robust and intuitive
- Ability to change time between points and choose acceleration curve is a plus
- Transition between key frames could be more seamless
- Cannot add included stickers to hide tripod or tilt down in edit mode with stickers
- Inability to combine two photos and adjust speed slower than 1-2 seconds with a standard cross dissolve transition is a drawback
- App has potential but often does not work, with issues such as not loading images or recognizing photos, making it disappointing and in need of improvement
