Software Features and Description

1. The flow of the app has been setup in such a way as to allow for the calculators to be used on a individual basis, using minimal information to output the basic data required, or as a complete process flow from start to finish.

2. For example, starting at the worm then creating a matching worm wheel and then to output the base tangent data to allow the gear to be checked.

3. These calculators have been developed to help in the Setting up, Production and Checking of the gears available via the Ultrascale web site.

4. Three of the main types of gears are covered, these are Worm gears, Helical gears and Spur gears.

Install Gear Lab app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Gear Lab on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Gear Lab"
The search will reveal the Gear Lab app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Gear Lab is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Gear Lab.
Now enjoy Gear Lab on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Gear Lab Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Gear Lab,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Gear Lab" » then Click "Install".
- Gear Lab will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
