Download and install the Pocket Pitch - The Singer App app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Pocket Pitch on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pocket Pitch"
- The search will reveal the Pocket Pitch - The Singer App app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Pocket Pitch is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pocket Pitch.

To get Pocket Pitch on Windows 11, check if there's a native Pocket Pitch Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Pocket Pitch:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Pocket Pitch" » Click "Install" to install Pocket Pitch - The Singer App

✔ Pros:
- Allows multiple users to play notes at the same time, making it great for group practice sessions.
- Resembles an actual pitch pipe with options for C-C or F-F pipe and duration of pitch.
- Free version works great and is easy to use.
- Piano portion of the app is helpful for playing notes.
☹ Cons:
- Cannot play two pitches at the same time on one device.
- Piano portion of the app could be improved by switching the screen orientation from up and down to side to side.
- No built-in auto tuner to test voice or tune guitar.
- No dark mode available, which can be uncomfortable for users who are used to dark apps.
- App does not rotate on iPad, making it difficult to use in certain orientations.
- Note tones do not loop seamlessly, causing a break in audio sample.

This is Fantastic!

I am currently learning 16 songs and this is used with them all! I’m in 3 choirs and everyone have this downloaded! It’s great when we go off and work sections. We can play our notes at the same time.
My one bit of advice to the creators is to make it possible to play from one device two pitches at the same time. We each play the notes on our separate phones but it would be easier to use just one. Thanks!

Finally a pitch pipe app that actually closely resembles an actual pitch pipe with options of either a C-C or F-F pipe! Also love the options for duration of pitch. Haven’t tried the fancy “blow in your iPhone’s mic” upgrade as the free version work great! Seeing as how it’s not been updated recently, I’m not sure if a slight refresh might be in order but on my 11 Pro Max running 13.2.2 it seems to be working just fine.

I think this app is pretty good! One thing I wish was different is about the piano portion of the app. I think it would be helpful if the screen would switch from up and down, to side to side one your screen; I feel like this would make it easier to play the notes (and since it is supposed to be a piano, it would make it more realistic).
Overall, this app is pretty cool and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone who’s considering getting it or not.

Very Useful But Needs Polish

Thanks for the free app but some things I’d love to see improved that I would pay for is a built in auto tuner to test my voice ( and tune up my guitar). Also a dark mode would be huge. Using dark apps like GarageBand and then going to this on my iPad is like looking into the sun (slight exaggeration). Speaking of iPad it would be very nice to let the app rotate so I’m not always looking at it sideways. And one last thing, it would be nice if the note tones looped seamlessly instead of hearing the break in your audio sample.
