Portrait mode shooting problem

When I switch to iOS 13 in portrait mode, I have always had problems. After shooting, the application rarely records successfully. Usually the screen goes blank and the picture is not recorded. I thought this would improve with the updates, but this issue, including the update that came in today, hasn't improved. My device is iPhone X.
