Unbalanced unit level

I've been playing this game for a moment and noticed that there is a system called "Challenging match". I faced many players that have 2-3 overall unit level higher than me but I didn't get the CM and kept loosing because you know, it's hard for low level unit to win against a high one even its the counter unit to the high one. For example, I used a level 5 Scorpion tank to get rid of a level 8 Pimple and it turned out my tank lost in 1v1 fight. Please, balance more on this system. One more thing, it would be nice if you can show players level at the loading screen. I feel like I'm facing lv50+ wile I'm just 14.
