2. As you approach a green or red pin, a message is displayed on your device giving you the option of viewing it's location on the map or to view more information such as historical information.
3. The Georgian Bay Boating app gives you all the information you need to enjoy the water.
4. A new maps feature provides users with green pins indicating where landmarks/marinas are located in the Georgian Bay area.
5. When you find a deadhead in the water, send us the Longitude and Latitude using the 'Contact Us' feature.
6. We provide a list of sailing clubs, marinas, part suppliers, repair shops and weather conditions so that you can enjoy that perfect day.
7. Users can submit deadheads or obstructions they find in the water that are not mapped.
8. When boaters pass within 100 feet of the dead head, a message from the app will appear warning them of it's presence and their current distance from the object.
9. A deadhead is a log or obstruction in the water which could be dangerous for boaters.
10. User submitted obstructions and deadheads are marked in red.
11. Boating safe matters for everyone.
