1. He is a graduate of California State College where he received his degree in Applied Arts (a combined study of music and fine arts.) After graduating from college he worked as full-time church staff in western Pennsylvania until he relocated to Orlando.

2. Our founding pastor, Paul Valo, began CCO with 34 people who had a passion to worship God and love people.

3. Upon graduating from high school he took a part-time position with his local church and simultaneously started his college career.

4. Within a few weeks we outgrew our initial location at the Colonialtown Community Center on Ferncreek Avenue and relocated to "The Plaza Theater" on Bumby Avenue.

5. To accommodate and sustain our growth, we have added multiple weekend service times, as well as continued to develop environments and experiences that people are finding relevant and exciting.

6. At the age of 13 he started his first church choir and within a year had over 30 teens and young adults singing together under his direction.

7. Christ Church of Orlando is a Spirit-filled, non-denominational church in the heart of central Florida.

8. This new worship center is the first phase in a three phase building program which will ultimately allow us to maximize our opportunities to impact our community.

9. And it's working! Many people who had given up on church have found this to be the kind of place they actually enjoy.

10. Looking toward the future, we began to acquire properties adjacent to our church campus with the hope of expansion.
