The heart sound recordings in the application are real recordings recorded with an Thinklabs One electronic stethoscope in a clinic. The quality of the sounds are top notch but have intentionally been left with occasional breath sounds and noises to give an realistic view of auscultation, i.e. real practice on the subject! The application includes a study module for the most common defects and an extensive practice sections where you can try to diagnose the patient only by auscultation. The practice section is done with and without visual aid of a phonocardiogram signal, in order to enforce learning and understanding of the sounds. Also there is a quick start or help section for the user who is new to auscultation and phonocardiograms.
