ALIM Mobile is a companion mobile application to Bentley’s Assetwise ALIM cloud application. Focused on Highways Engineers working on the field to collect new or update existing asset inventory data stored in the ALIM repository. ALIM Mobile also enables Inspections to be carried out against Assets or Network Sections allowing the characteristics and severity of the Defects to be recorded as well as their linear and spatial locations. In addition, recommended repairs along with Standard Work Items and associated quantities can be defined by the Inspector allowing the full definition of the defect and its recommended remediation to be collected in the field. ALIM Mobile provides a user friendly, GPS-enabled data collection tool that seamlessly integrates with your LRS and mapping data. ALIM Mobile is used in conjunction with Bentley’s ALIM software for streamlining the process of collecting assets, carrying out Inspections, capturing defects and any related media files like photos, videos and audio files providing synchronization through cloud services for secure and rapid management of asset data. Featuring a Straight-Line Diagram (SLD), a Map View and support for either online or offline working, ALIM Mobile makes the task of collecting asset data and related information including their corresponding linear locations an easy and intuitive process providing a wide range of capabilities: • Data viewing and editing through wireless networks or in disconnected mode • Your location, both linear or real-world, is updated automatically using your device’s GPS. • Rapid asset collection even if you are in a car utilizing the integrated Straight-Line Diagram view, so you always know your exact linear location. • The integrated GPS capabilities and embedded map view allows you to collect asset information that our out of reach or away from the inspected route. • Support for rich data such as photos and video, adds to the overall quality of asset inventory information and reports. • Ability to select the route(s), asset type(s) and Inspection Type(s) applicable for a given survey or Inspection
