Photella is a revolutionary photo & video sharing app for citizen reporters, photographers, models, and dancers. As a citizen reporter, you can post photos and videos of what you see on the streets and Photella creates a true timeline of what happened exactly where and when. You can post incognito or identify your posts by grouping them in a board. As a photographer, model or dancer, Photella showcases your artistic work by place and time and combines it with others’ to create collective chronicles of places and events. For example, you can re-experience a party through the eyes of people who were there (Photella displays their photos & videos in the order they were taken). You collect photos/videos on Photella into a “board” similar to an Instagram collection but can be either private, semi-public, or public (like Pinterest). People can follow your board(s) and you can send announcements to followers of your boards. Publishing: Without an account or login, you create a Photella “board" and add photos/videos to it. A board can include links to all your social media and sites. You can have an unlimited number of boards and they can be private or public. Public boards can be found by search and are featured under “New" once they have 10 or more photos/vidoes. Browsing: Discover what’s been posted near you via the “Nearby” tab. It shows photos and videos by the date and time they were taken (not by when they were posted) resulting in a true location timeline. Move the map to see photo/video timelines in other areas around the world. Discover new photo/videos being posted around the work via the “Timelines” tab. The number on each thumbnail indicates the number of photos/videos in the same area. Explore boards created by users via the “Boards” tab. You can search for boards by any word or hashtag in them. Terms of Service 1. Photos/videos of graphic violence or sexual nature are not permitted. They will be deleted and repeat offenders will be banned from posting on Photella. A ban is permanent and deleting and re-installing Photella doesn’t get around it. 2. Hateful speech and personal attacks are not permitted.
