TV Prod Timer is a simple but effective countdown Timer designed for the hectic TV Production Control Rooms. Designed for quick number entry, large font and accurate timing. I have worked in TV Production for almost 30 years. Things can change very quickly in a live-to-air control room. I needed an app that will allow me to enter time quickly, with no dials or distractions, or separate screens and with clear and easy to read font with a big START button. So have designed this Timer with these qualities in mind. Counts down in hours, minutes and seconds. To enter numbers just tap and type straight into the hours, minutes or seconds section. No dial wheels, no fancy menus, just type it in and press START. Perfect for counting down VTs, Links, Commercial Breaks etc. Great for those last minute time changes, only moments to enter the time and start. Don't waste time entering zeros as will quickly add them for you at the front of the numbers or if the field is left blank. Start button is big and obvious, so you don't have to look for a small button in the dimly lit control room. Stop button, will stop at the current time, and can continue by pressing Start again. Reset, will reset to the last entry. Visual cues that time is running out. 30 secs the font will change to blue 15 secs the font will change to red. Clear large font on white background Will continue to count down in background mode, so you can check your emails or texts or other apps and come back to the correct time.
