Classical music

Classical music lovers should definitely consider this. A few hours of music are given as sample (Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, etc.) but for the rest, you'll need a monthly subscription to the Naxos Music Library. This costs the equivalent of a few CD's, and is well worth it. I've subscribed to the app for a few months, and find it a great way to listen to a very wide range of classical music. The online site allows to search for any composer, genre ("chamber music") or period, but the app gives access only to playlists you have already made. In practice this works fine. Playlists are the collections that app subscribers can be make of music that they like. I have them for genres of music--like "20th century piano" or "cello music." It is very easy to save individual tracks, compositions, or albums, to a new playlist. There is a limit to the size of each playlist, but when I reach it, I just create a new playlist ("Baroque trumpet 2" or "Piano Scriabin").
