1. One of the most essential tenets of Buddhism from the teaching of the Buddha is the outline of the Eightfold Path.
2. In his teaching the Buddha listed 8 qualities or aspirations that we can cultivate in order to lead us closer and closer to enlightened consciousness.
3. For this 8 day Buddhist challenge, each day we we'll explore one of the eight parts of the Eightfold Path.
4. Each day there will be a story, a teaching, a meditation, and an exercise, followed by a journal entry to be made at the end of the day.
5. Introduction to Buddhism for anyone curious about Buddhism or a brush up for current Buddhists.
6. A fun way to challenge yourself with self improvement.
7. Help the world put an end to suffering.
8. Improve your life and those around you.
