Progress of lessons and exercises don’t make sense

What I like about this app is how it covers everything from N5 to N1 and the periodic reviews every day. But for some lessons and exercises it uses grammar features from more advanced lessons which makes the lessons way harder than it is supposed to be. For example on first lesson of N4 the exercises have sentences that uses conditionals, but until that lesson, conditionals were not taught yet. How am I supposed to understand the sentence if the examples uses grammar that have not been taught yet??? This makes the process of learning Japense frustating and way harder than it should be if you were using proper learning materials, like books. This app should be only used for reviewing grammar, not actually learning Japanese. If you want to learn Japanese grammar, there are better resources, but if you just want to review, than it is a good app. I give 4 stars because the name of the app says “learn Japanese”. And when it comes to learning Japanese, there better (and cheaper) ways of doing it. If the developers could make the examples using the grammar that has been taught until that lesson, this app would be definitely a good resource for learning Japanese and definitely a 5 star.

The best

Ive tried a lot of apps yo learn japanese and this is clearly the best one. You can actually start by leaning the basics of japanese aka hiragana and katakana , something that I've never seen in other free apps. This is amazing. It makes you understand what you are actually learning rather than just some words and images with english texts on the other end. The tests at the end is original and makes you learn a lot more. I can’t believe this app is free. I really hope they make more! It would be fun to learn chinese with this app :)

Great App

This app if very well designed and covers everything from n5 to n1 Japanese grammar. And it is very good for setting your own pace. You will at least want to learn hiragana and katakana to fully enjoy using this app. I was actually trying to find similar grammar apps for some other languages and I hope someone will make them. One suggestion would be to make it so you can go back a page and reread some of the grammar rules while in the middle of starting a new lesson. If there is a way I haven’t figured it out yet.

Great idea, but no app support and major bugs

I think the idea of the app is great, but implementation is really raw. That would be not an issue, if app had proper support. But emails about occurring issues are not answered, and problems are not solved. In my case, app developed a bug, where the same tasks are multiplying in my review queue and correct answers for them are not recognized, so they appear again and again. At that point it’s almost impossible to use the app. Definitely not the product you should pay for. I hope they’ll fix that.
