1. Die Bienenretter is a Deutsche Welle offering based on the game Squirrel & Bär designed by the Cologne-based game studio The Good Evil GmbH ( ).

2. Help Eichhörnchen and Bär rescue the bees and learn German along the way.

3. Eichhörnchen and Bär (squirrel and bear) must rescue them, but the medicinal plant they need to do that is awfully far away.

4. The game is endorsed by the German Youth Institute.

5. Die Bienenretter – an adventure learning game for children ages 3 and up.

6. Start right away and learn German - even without previous language skills.

7. Outside the forest, all the animals speak German.

8. Feed the badger; help the beaver clean up.

9. Come along! Meet the stork, the confused stag and the rats.

10. Find the way out of the city and head into the snowy mountains.

11. Also, a lynx is guarding the plant.
