1. • Put your art knowledge to the test with the Art Quiz! Can you… piece together the jigsaw of a famous painting from The National Gallery? Spot the differences between two paintings? Pick the odd one out from a group of paintings? You’ll need to complete each level successfully to move on to the next level.

2. This app is designed to work specifically with The Children’s Interactive Story of Art book, published in association with The National Gallery, London.

3. If you've got the The Children’s Interactive Story of Art book, download this FREE app to begin creating your own virtual art gallery.

4. Launch the app, point your device's camera at the book while it is open flat on the floor or a table, and get ready to start your art gallery experience.

5. • Once you’re happy with your gallery layout, take an amazing virtual-reality 3D tour of the exhibition, room by room.

6. You can hang paintings from The National Gallery on the walls, and even upload your own photos to place next to the masters.

7. Rotate your device to view any part of each gallery room, then tap on a picture to see it up close and discover its title and the name of the artist who painted it.

8. Decide how you’re going to theme each of the five rooms in the gallery, but remember there’s no right or wrong – it’s up to you.

9. • Drag and drop masterpieces from The National Gallery, London, onto the walls of your gallery.

10. To activate the app, turn to pages 92-93 in The Children’s Interactive Story of Art book.

11. • Choose the wall colour, ceiling design and floor type for each room in the exhibition.
