1. Russian Checkers (Russkie Shashki) - jumping is mandatory and cannot be passed up to make a non-jumping move, kings fly across the board, men can jump backwards.

2. American Checkers (English Draughts) - jumping is mandatory and cannot be passed up to make a non-jumping move, kings can jump backwards.
