1. Want to go behind the scenes of our current exhibit? Explore the world of the Allen family who built the Allen House in 1926? See downtown Birmingham through the eyes of Martha Baldwin? Locate the oldest graves in Greenwood Cemetery? Now you can! You can also search the map for what interests you.

2. Our site includes the Allen House, built in 1926 by Birmingham’s first mayor and his family, and the Hunter House, built in 1822 and the oldest house in Birmingham and Oakland County.

3. Discover all that the Birmingham Museum has to offer and then some with our interactive app! At the Birmingham Museum, our mission is to tell Birmingham’s story, and there’s a lot to tell! We are always expanding our collection and tour offerings.

4. About the Birmingham Museum: The Birmingham Museum is a municipally operated public institution located in Birmingham, Michigan, with collection objects and archives that pertain to Birmingham's history that are held in the public trust.

5. The Allen House contains our changing exhibits and the Hunter House serves as our site for interpreting early pioneer life in the community on the Saginaw Trail.
