1. And so, I took an additional month and half off from work as a real estate broker to create a full line of what I call deep moisturizing fragrances using the techniques I learned in courses such as "Aromatherapy for the skin" and "Natural Perfumery".

2. Butter By Keba is a Harlem bred premium line of moisturizers and yummy fragrances designed to give you smoother skin while uplifting and soothing your mood using the practice & technique of aromatherapy and perfumery.

4. Today the line is made up of a handful of custom designed blends across several products that include body butters, lotions, salt scrubs, perfume oils, colognes, hair serum and even a DYI manicure kit.

5. After taking a trip to Egypt and learning about the ancient healing art of perfumery I decided to explore it further in the classrooms of aromatherapy and perfumery schools such as the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies and Pratt Institute.

6. 10 years ago I was looking for an oil-based moisturizer to relieve my chronic dry skin and could not find one that worked and smelled great so I created my own with the help of a kitchen made product someone had given me as a basis from which to start.
