1. Twenty-four teams will compete in the Davis Cup by Rakuten Qualifiers 2020 on 6–7 March, with the ties played under a home-and-away format: Croatia, India, Belgium, Hungary, Argentina, Colombia, United States, Uzbekistan, Australia, Brazil, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Germany, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Uruguay, Japan, Ecuador, Sweden and Chile.

2. The 12 winning nations will advance to the Davis Cup Finals 2020 where they will be joined by the four semi-finalists from the Finals 2019 (Spain, Canada, Great Britain and Russia) as well as two wild cards (France and Serbia).

3. Starting in 2019, the new format brings together the top 18 nations contesting the Davis Cup Finals in a week-long season finale to crown the Davis Cup champions.

5. In the 2019 Finals, Spain won its sixth Davis Cup title and became the first champions of the new format.

6. Like 2019, the 2020 Davis Cup Finals will be held in Madrid.

7. The Davis Cup by Rakuten Madrid Finals will take place over the course of one week, including opening and closing ceremonies.

8. For the first time in history, the team made the final of the competition and did so thanks to the contributions throughout 2019 of Denis Shapovalov (age 20), Felix Auger-Aliassime (19), and relative veteran Vasek Pospisil (29).

9. Russia and Serbia, two of the great favourites from last year’s Finals battled for a place in the semi-finals, taking their fight to a atie-break in the decisive third set of the last of their matches: the doubles.

10. Andy Murray, Nick Kyrgios, Gael Monfils, David Goffin, Diego Schwartzmann, and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga were among other top players appearing in the first edition of the Finals.

Still issues...

At least the correct names are finally showing in the completed matches - but to get there is way too complicated. Plus it very often gives errors that are supposed to be related to my network connection... which is impossible as on high speed which is working perfectly.

Non sono riuscita a trovare da nessuna parte una classifica dei gironi Cliccando su risultati ti fa vedere il programma del giorno. I nomi dei giocatori sono sbagliati (nell’ incontro Croazia- Russia Coric ha giocato contro se stesso). Le news non sono aggiornate. Insomma non serve a niente. Come questo nuovo formato della Coppa App....

How can anyone produce anything like this. Just copy and paste what others have done. No access to previous scores. Incredibly unfriendly. The app matches the event. Crap!
