1. On 4 September 2013, a phone was found on the Hong Kong MTR containing strange and graphic footage, including the apparent murder of a group of friends.

2. The Hong Kong police department is now releasing the footage and accompanying app in the hopes of obtaining more information about these unresolved disappearances.

3. It was turned over to the Hong Kong authorities, but the investigation has stalled as many people associated with the videos have gone missing.

4. Some believe it is associated with the Hong Kong urban legend of an evil spirit who captures and consumes your soul.
