1. ToothFairy streamlines this: just click an icon in the menu bar (or press a hotkey) to switch to the AirPods, and the icon always shows whether they’re connected.

2. You can’t tell at a glance whether audio will play from the AirPods or your Mac’s built-in speaker, you have to dig into a Bluetooth submenu to connect, and then you have to go back to the menu to see when the AirPods are ready for use.

3. - Works with AirPods, as well as any Bluetooth device that you can connect to your Mac: headphones, speakers, headsets, game pad controllers, keyboards, mice, etc.

4. Switching Bluetooth devices between multiple Macs requires that the Bluetooth device can be paired with more than one computer/phone at a time; this is not supported by the current-generation Apple Magic Keyboard/Mouse/Trackpad.

5. Note: ToothFairy works with devices that can be connected via the macOS Bluetooth menu.

6. AirPods and Beats devices with an Apple W1 chip do not need to be manually disconnected, and you can set them to avoid accidental disconnections when pressing the hotkey multiple times.

7. - Supports multiple Bluetooth audio devices; you can choose a different icon and hotkey for each.

8. The battery indicator works with devices that can show their battery level in the Bluetooth pane of System Preferences.

9. Connect AirPods (or other Bluetooth headphones) to your Mac with a single click or keypress.

10. - Click the hollow AirPods icon in the menu bar to switch to AirPods.

11. - Disconnect a Bluetooth device by clicking the icon (or pressing the hotkey) again, so that you can switch back to your phone.

Ora apri l applicazione Emulator che hai installato e cerca la sua barra di ricerca. Una volta trovato, digita ToothFairy nella barra di ricerca e premi Cerca. Clicca su ToothFairyicona dell applicazione. Una finestra di ToothFairy sul Play Store o l app store si aprirà e visualizzerà lo Store nella tua applicazione di emulatore. Ora, premi il pulsante Installa e, come su un iPhone o dispositivo Android, la tua applicazione inizierà il download. Ora abbiamo finito.
Vedrai un icona chiamata "Tutte le app".
Fai clic su di esso e ti porterà in una pagina contenente tutte le tue applicazioni installate.
Dovresti vedere il icona. Fare clic su di esso e iniziare a utilizzare l applicazione.

AirPods su Mac come sarebebro dovute essere

Finalmente sono perfette anche su Mac. In 3 secondi (letterali) connetti, disconnetti e riconnetti su Mac/iPhone. Applicazione perfetta.

As simple and effective as it should be.

It does exactly what it says. It just works. It will in fact spare you that “extra” nagging click to reconnect to your AirPods when switching from an iPhone time and again. Untill Apple does figure out an automatic mode to pair your AirPods accordingly to the current device in use, this is easily the best alternative.

The last piece of the puzzle is missing

If i switch to another output device from the System Preferences, and then i press the shortcut one more time to switch back to the Airpods, it doesn't work, because they are already connected. Please add an option to do that.
