3. This is the story of the Empire’s last royal family through thousands of their own photographs published across 4 social networks, accounts on each network showcasing their own narrative, format and content.

4. See photographs become educational explainer videos, examine 3D renditions of the royal family, engage with unique then-and-now photos and more.

5. The purpose of this app is to extend storytelling limited by print, and to allow readers become active co-creators of the unfolding story.

6. #Romanovs100 is an online documentary "photo-puzzle" which merges a large set of visual data with transmedia storytelling to piece out the big picture of a “lost Russia”.

7. The app, when used with the album, provides an immersive journey into history triggering multiple unique experiences.
