1. As soon as the spinner stops, the runway and wind arrow rotate to provide a graphical display of wind orientation to the runway while providing a digital display of crosswind and HW/TW.
2. Want to know the wind components for wind gusts? Simply press the Gust button to display crosswind and HW/TW components for the selected gust velocity.
3. Want to know the wind components for the reciprocal runway? Tapping anywhere on the graphical runway rotates the runway and spinner, while automatically displaying wind data for the new runway.
4. Crosswind and tailwind components are rounded up while headwind components are rounded down, providing worst-case data for performance calculations.
5. X-Wind Pro is a simple, yet powerful application that computes crosswind, headwind, and tailwind components for takeoff and landing.
6. X-Wind Pro also provides the ability to easily enter yellow caution and red warning values for both crosswind and tailwind, allowing you to customize the app for your aircraft and experience level.
7. NOTE: X-Wind Pro is not designed to provide "sole source" operational information and must only be used as advisory information in conjunction with official source data.
8. Simply spin the reel to enter runway, wind direction and velocity.
