1. This is an important step in filling gaps in the distribution of dung beetles and understanding the ecosystem services they provide, as well as supporting our quality food producers and accessing trade markets.
2. MyDungBeetle Reporter lets you quickly and easily report your observations to Dung Beetle Ecosystem Engineers project experts across Australia.
3. This project is supported by Meat & Livestock Australia, through funding from the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources as part of its Rural R&D for Profit programme.
4. Everyone can help map dung beetle distributions by using their phone to make reports with up to four photos from their camera or gallery and gps.
5. By using MyDungBeetle Reporter you will be supporting your local community and defending Australia’s primary industries and environment.
6. You can also create reports online using the Reporter website.
7. Our experts will attempt to identify your beetles and reply back to your device.
