1. What this means is that Owly ensures your Mac’s screen never goes dim, no screen savers appear and that your Mac doesn’t enter sleep mode.

2. Owly is useful for when you want to keep certain information showing on your screen whilst whilst you may not be using the keyboard/mouse actively.

3. Say hello to Owly, a cute little fellow who lives in your Mac’s menu bar and does its best to prevent your Mac from automatically sleeping.

4. By right clicking the Owly icon on the menubar, the app can toggle on/off.

5. When the icon is red, Owly is active and will keep your Mac wide awake.

6. We've spent a great deal of time thinking about the details and after using this app for a few days, you'll begin to notice our small yet creative touches.

7. When the icon is black, the app is no longer actively ensuring your Mac doesn’t enter sleep.

8. To access Owly’s Preferences, simply click on the menubar icon.

Öffnen Sie nun die von Ihnen installierte Emulator-Anwendung und suchen Sie nach seiner Suchleiste. Sobald Sie es gefunden haben, tippen Sie ein Owly - Prevent Display Sleep in der Suchleiste und drücken Sie Suchen. Klicke auf Owly - Prevent Display SleepAnwendungs symbol. Ein Fenster von Owly - Prevent Display Sleep im Play Store oder im App Store wird geöffnet und der Store wird in Ihrer Emulatoranwendung angezeigt. Drücken Sie nun die Schaltfläche Installieren und wie auf einem iPhone oder Android-Gerät wird Ihre Anwendung heruntergeladen. Jetzt sind wir alle fertig.

Klicken Sie darauf und Sie gelangen auf eine Seite mit allen installierten Anwendungen.

It Works. Simple and Easy to Use.

Beside the fact that it just works, it also is easy to use, the countdown is nice and I even use it sometimes as a timer for work sessions. I like the way the teacup in the icon simply turns red when the app is enabled. Not a whole lot to improve on.

The successor to Caffiene

I used Caffiene happily for many years, even long after it was pulled from the App Store. However, it stopped working reliably after I upgraded to Mojave. This app does what it says on the tin which is exactly what I want from a small utility. Pro tip: with app enabled, press Ctrl-Command-Q and then Esc to lock the screen without sleeping.

One Click - Responsive

app is a great, one-click, quick responding app. The other app I used to use do to this task was very laggy and took multiple clicks.
