Careful with battery

The app transiently eats away at your battery life even if you don’t have the app open. The scenes are very cool but it easily uses the most battery life compared to other apps. Would be a lot better if it wasn’t so battery intensive, may end up uninstalling purely because my phone is on low battery constantly with using it unless I always have it plugged in while home.

Good app if you live alone.

Expensive in-app purchases but it’s a well designed app with great holiday, special event and occasion themes. Because of the in app purchases you can not share those parts of the app with other members of your family. It’s pretty important for other family members to control house lighting if this is your primary app for light management.

Could easily be a lot better

It’s full of advertising for its own sales. And they’re not actually sales, they’re rentals. So even if you like something, it’s not a one time buy. Worse, there’s no way to organize your favorites, so you have to weed through the all the crap you don’t want every time. Some of the active fire stuff is the sole reason I use it, and it’s good at that.

Love it but.. annoyed a bit

This is a returned version of an older app. I know that because when I went to comment on the new app I downloaded, the one for the previous first generation app came up. So, once again, apples App Store has allowed for a developer to make improvements to apps which exclude their core base and early adopters making them have to double pay for a version change. Love the app, under both names, just wish I wouldn’t have had to pay twice. I noticed this because my previous review was still attached to this “new” app. As far as “perspective” responses from developers - that seems a tad contrived.
