App won't work

I have just paid and install the app. Upon first launch, I was greeted with frozen black screen giving me no other options than a reboot after 5 mins of inactivity. Trying to lauch the app after a computer restart produces no result what so ever.... I feel like I have been swindled.

Like it, wish there was more from Cyan

This is working well on a mid-2009 iMac (refurbished by MacOfAllTrades, purchased in 2018 for $200) running El Capitan, 10.11.6. I have and played most of the MYST franchise games on older Macs (have them on disc, all paid for). They are “PowerPC” apps and won’t work with Intel CPU and current Mac OS. All my older Macs died one way or another, none of my MYST franchise games are available to me now, except this one. I miss Riven, never finished it, it wouldn’t work past OS 9. I think I finished MYST IV Revelation and MYST V End of Ages, don’t remember for sure, wish I could play them again. I wish Cyan would make all the MYST games updated for current Mac OS. They would make a pile of money. Thanks Apple for getting this in the App Store. If you have older Macs that can run PowerPC (Motorola G3, G4) apps, check out the older MYST franchise games. (By the way, my worst problem in this game so far was the stinking match going out before I could light the boiler so I could get into Channelwood. Problem was sluggish cursor movement. After I reset preferences for auto whatever-the-heck-it-is, I can’t remember, I was able to light the boiler. Got into Channelwood.) Haven’t been able to fix the rocket voltage problem yet (should be 59 volts). Did it years ago. Want to use rocket. At least I’m in Channelwood now, might make progress.

Worst Ever, False Advertising

After paying and downloadingthis app, I found that it stutters and stops, then crashes every time. I sent the crashreport to the developer who said it is not compatible with my 2014 Mac Air even though the App store said it was. I can find no way to get my money back. Plz help!

Can't get past intro - system locks up.

My system specs WELL exceed the minimun, yet I can't get past the intro without it locking up -- at various points. Audio skips and gets stuck in a loop. Graphics freeze. Beachball of death. You name it. I was really looking forward to re-visiting the world that I fell in love with so many years ago, but... so far, no joy. At all. More the opposite of joy. Sadness.

Frustrated to no end!

I just spent $18 on this app in the app store and it wont start on my MacBook Air with Mojave. Why? What is the work around. If none, it should be disclosed that Myst does not work on Mac. Any solutions, please advise.
