1. The application also allows to DRAG/DROP many image files directly from Finder (or press Cmd-V to paste image from current Clipboard) to current editing window to add them to the diagram.

2. Press "Cmd-9" or click on Capture button to export current diagram image to clipboard, then you could paste that image to another application.

3. Example: Open [Preview] application, press "Cmd-N" to paste above captured image to view or to save to an image file.

4. - Add image: You could add any image file (support file type: svg, svgz, gif, jpeg, png, bmp, pict, tiff) to display as an item inside the application.

5. - Basic draw items: including freehand lines, line, polyline, orthogonal line, tangent line, parallel line, rectangle, polygon, circle, arc (NOTE: native ellipse is not supported, only support ellipse created by polyline object).

6. Press "Cmd-S" to save current diagram to an AAD file so that you could load it later for editing.

7. Of course, you could paste that image to Excel, Word application too.

8. Image file could be shown in following modes: Stretch / Fit inside bound / Fit outside bound.

9. SimpleCAD is an easy, simple to learn 2D Computer Aided Design program (CAD) made to meet all of your basic design needs.

10. AAD (*.aad) is the new file type created only for this application.

11. SimpleCAD is more than just a vector paint program, because you could move, copy, edit, scale, rotate and offset… objects.

Öffnen Sie nun die von Ihnen installierte Emulator-Anwendung und suchen Sie nach seiner Suchleiste. Sobald Sie es gefunden haben, tippen Sie ein SimpleCAD in der Suchleiste und drücken Sie Suchen. Klicke auf SimpleCADAnwendungs symbol. Ein Fenster von SimpleCAD im Play Store oder im App Store wird geöffnet und der Store wird in Ihrer Emulatoranwendung angezeigt. Drücken Sie nun die Schaltfläche Installieren und wie auf einem iPhone oder Android-Gerät wird Ihre Anwendung heruntergeladen. Jetzt sind wir alle fertig.
Sie sehen ein Symbol namens "Alle Apps".
Klicken Sie darauf und Sie gelangen auf eine Seite mit allen installierten Anwendungen.
Sie sollten das sehen Symbol. Klicken Sie darauf und starten Sie die Anwendung.

Good system but poor file format

Easy to use system but basically useless because you can't take files into any other system because AAD file is only type supported which is unique to it.

Updates ruin scaled drawings

I used to love this program. Unfortunately, the latest update ruined the scaling of all my prior drawings. Although the update has some great features for the money, if you can’t trust the developer to think through important issues like scaling in a CAD drawing, you’re better off with a different App.

SimpleCAD

Simple??! Yeah…..simple if you’ve had a year of AutoCAD at University. Entering x,y coordinates without zero datum info in a LARGE BOX at the top of the Menu is as looking for your tie in a closet with the door closed and the light out. No list of shapes and lines to initially enter position and THEN enter exact location. Protocol to even attempt to use this programs logic is hidden and Help is on the order of “Entry is like other CAD systems”. I graduated Summa w/BSME and Annual award for Drafting Excellence ( back in the day of board and T-square admittedly ) and have a Patent for a design that I had ready to go in my head within 20 seconds. Can’t scan 20 x 20in drawings now and need a program to show ideas to investors. This ain’t it.
