Öffnen Sie nun die von Ihnen installierte Emulator-Anwendung und suchen Sie nach seiner Suchleiste. Sobald Sie es gefunden haben, tippen Sie ein NewsBar RSS reader in der Suchleiste und drücken Sie Suchen. Klicke auf NewsBar RSS readerAnwendungs symbol. Ein Fenster von NewsBar RSS reader im Play Store oder im App Store wird geöffnet und der Store wird in Ihrer Emulatoranwendung angezeigt. Good looking and useful

I do love the integration with Feedly, and the ease of use in general. I think it would greatly benefit from the ability to run more than one App at the same time, so you could have more than one dedicate source open on different monitors.

HARD TO VIEW

Really! How are we supposed to read this translucent" newsreel" superimposed over our desktop picture. If my desktop picture was midnigjt black it would be perfect...

The Best RSS News Reader

Minimal, fully customizable yet elegant - the app has been a win for me. After a strange glitch that caused App to instantly crash on my High Sierra macOS, an email to the developer yielded a very quick reply to fix — hold ALT while launching (resets the database); perfection! Back in business again, I appreciate the extensive diversity of feed sources and seemles integration with Feedly, Pocket and Twitter (just by using the user @name). Keyword notifications (with or without sounds), search function, keyboard shortcuts, feed previews, and seamless iCloud sync round out a high functioning app.

Good in General but needs a few tweaks

In general this is what I was looking for on my Macbook. It makes having news always around good, but not overwhelming. From this page it looks like it’s been updated in 2018, but the Support page has known issues from early September. For example, if I reboot the App doesn’t start up again. If I select start at login, after a reboot it’s unchecked again. Simple bug to fix, but not sure it will ever happen.

So Far So Good!

I just downloaded this app, based on the excellent reviews here, to replace Shrook which I’ve been using for years. Apparently the Shrook developers are shutting down their operation including the server they use for syncing feeds between devices. I like the fact that App syncs via iCloud. It was amazingly easy to transfer my feeds from Shrook to App just by copying and pasting the URL from one to the other. Nice! Configurability is wonderful - it seems there’s a setting for almost everything. There’s one setting I didn’t see and would like added - to be able to set a value for the length of time that I preview an article before it marks itself as “read”. It appears that the default value is a few seconds. I’d like to be able to set it to an almost instantaneous trigger. I’m used to previewing articles quickly and right now I have to hover over the preview for those few seconds before it gets marked. Not a big deal, but it does slow the process down a bit. I do really like being able to have feeds up on the screen at all times. What a great idea!
