1. In addition to the CourtFinder iPhone application, the Courts of the World website allows users to save interesting courts, show others which basketball courts they‘ve visited and represent their own home court.

2. The CourtFinder database provides access to thousands of streetball court locations in more than 200 countries of the world, including public parks, playgrounds, schools, universities and other sites – hidden behind fences or in remote places.

3. The premier global basketball court locator grows as streetball players from all over the world share locations, photos, videos and experiences.

4. Pushing a court mark gives you the name and address, a click will then show you the details for the selected court, including photos, comments and videos, if available.

5. The CourtFinder iPhone application will help you locate the closest and best blacktop to shoot hoops near your current location or any address with your iPhone or iPad.

6. Simply type any address and the CourtFinder will give you a map with basketball courts in the area.

7. - Add your own photos to court locations! Take a picture of your buddies rocking the rim or taking it to the hole.

8. - Comment on a court you‘ve visited! Share your opinion about playing conditions and the local competition.

9. If you just discovered a court that‘s not in the CourtFinder yet, add it in seconds! You can even take a snapshot right away so others get an impression.

10. Search your local environment for public basketball courts by using the Map.

11. The site also features streetball videos and news from courts around the world.

Öffnen Sie nun die von Ihnen installierte Emulator-Anwendung und suchen Sie nach seiner Suchleiste. Sobald Sie es gefunden haben, tippen Sie ein Courts of the World in der Suchleiste und drücken Sie Suchen. Klicke auf Courts of the WorldAnwendungs symbol. Ein Fenster von Courts of the World im Play Store oder im App Store wird geöffnet und der Store wird in Ihrer Emulatoranwendung angezeigt. Drücken Sie nun die Schaltfläche Installieren und wie auf einem iPhone oder Android-Gerät wird Ihre Anwendung heruntergeladen. Jetzt sind wir alle fertig.
Sie sehen ein Symbol namens "Alle Apps".
Klicken Sie darauf und Sie gelangen auf eine Seite mit allen installierten Anwendungen.

Softwareaktualisierung wäre nice

Grundidee ist sehr gut, leider wenig Nutzer in meiner Umgebung (südwest Berlin, Kleinmachnow). App hakt bei mir hin und wieder (Version iOS 9.1) und ist nicht an neuere iPhones angepasst.

Tolle Idee - veraltete Daten

Die Datenbanken sind stark veraltet, so dass manche Plätze teilweise gar nicht mehr existieren oder nicht öffentlich zugänglich ist. Allerdings sind auch viele real existierende und öffentliche Plätze erst gar nicht in der Datenbank auffindbar. Versucht man die App über die App hinzuzufügen, so bleibt die gesamte App hängen. Tolle Idee für alle Freizeitbasketballer, allerdings befriedigend umgesetzt. Schade dass die App ständig hängen bleibt. Bitte hier schnellstens nachbessern, damit die User auch die Datenbanken updaten können.
