2. Atalanta Women addresses the under-representation of women throughout history, and the failure to fully recognize many of the amazing women alive today.

3. Download Atalanta women to learn about the women whom the history books glossed over, and feel empowered to achieve just as they did.

4. The Search Tab allows you to search the approximately 370 women included in the app, and browse the different categories: Art, Literature, Sports, Science, Politics, and Other.

5. Hundreds of women are completely ignored in our history books when their contributions were at minimum equal to the many men these books showcase.

6. Atalanta Women addresses the underrepresentation of women throughout history and in the media today.

7. If you search “women” on the app store the results vary between clothing apps, fitness planners, and period trackers.

8. This app was created as a Girl Scout Gold Award project, a sustainable service project that addresses an issue in a girl's community.

9. You have to search “women empowerment” to get anything substantial and even then the results are slim.

10. The app utilizes a tab bar structure to make navigating unique historical content seamless and engaging.

11. The Today Tab showcases a women’s achievement each day of the year that veritably happened on that day.
