Great game, but...
The graphics are great! The battles are intense and fun, win or lose. Some issues I have are torpedos hit when they miss. This seems to happen in the stern of the ship. There are not enough maps. Sonar doesn’t seem to do anything. There should be a long game in addition to the 6 minute game, perhaps a 12 minute. Larger battles too, 14 ships would be nice. It’s really hard, if not impossible for a person that doesn’t spend a lot money to get up to higher level ships. I do like the fact that know matter how much you spend, skill is what wins the endgame the. That said, Some battles are matches are really unbalanced. Ie, one team starts off with no destroyers, when that happens, and you have a decent destroyer player and no carrier on the other team, you pretty much get the first hit free and can sit back an pick off ships for the rest of the match. That’s a pretty sever handicap. If a player drops his connection, the computer should take over his ship, right now it’s just easy points. The biggest issue I have is the win/loss stats. The top 2 players on the losing team shouldn’t be credited with a loss. I think this will encourage people to be more aggressive in attacking.

Good premise, needs improvement, BATTERY KILLER
First let me say I’ve been studying naval history and warfare for a long time. This app is what I’ve been waiting for. That said, it’s got good points and bad points.
GOOD: You control a warship, guns blazing, App bent on destroying the other fleet, with other players controlling their own ships. It’s like Jutland without organization or a plan of any kind. It is more simulation than arcade, with semi-realistic maneuvering and turret traversing. The ship models are beautiful, from the smallest Japanese destroyer to the South Carolina class battleship and many more. The BOOM of the main guns is sweet. The objective of missions doesn’t waver- destroy the enemy fleet. Elegant simplicity.
BAD: It’s a battery killer. Expect an hour or so before your Battery Life Warning pops up. Also, the matching system negates upgrading your ship. You spend all kinds of time and resources to get a better ship, and then in matches you’re sent up against ships of equal disposition. Seems fair, and I understand the reasoning. It does reduce the excitement of having upgraded your steel dragon” when everyone you’re matched with has equivalent strength.

Very, very solid 1.0
This game is great, so far there has been not that many games that approach and try to be WOWS without the horrible loot crate scam that is in most games nowadays...this is what I like about WG, **** lootcrates, you don't need them to progress, but they serve as a little extra for you... it is hard to find anything wrong with this game as it is barely the first version, but I would like to see more freedom regarding communication or better controls that allow more things from WOWS.
I recommend this game for everyone that wants a ship v ship game, or those familiar with World of Warships, World of Tanks, and World of Tanks Blitz!
Update
I think that matchmaking could use some work, as it doesn't really care if in one team there is 4 top tiers, all destroyers and in the other 2 top tier aircraft carriers (in one battle I've seen 3 aircraft carriers, and it was hilarious, like a swarm of bees). That said, I would like to see the same kind of chat that's on WoTB, as I think as I would like to go up the Aircraft Carrier branches, it would be a good idea to let the team know who are you attacking, in what side should we focus on, etc.
