Why?
Horrible tool, especially when compared to the previous app. I regularly cannot pair my P6s when the device is between them and the devices, themselves, are no more than 0.6 meters apart. I've spent 30 minutes using both iPhone and ipad and it still will not connect. I also couldn't get my H9s to connect to a device right next to it using this app.
I'm sorry. Perhaps you should outsource the development to someone who knows what they're doing. This is just unfathomable given the design and function of your products. This is beyond frustrating.

Thank you for your response. Your response, though, just justified the point. Why should one have to go through all that just to get your app to work? I don't have to do that with the old app. IT JUST WORKS. I really wish I knew how to get the old app onto my newer devices. It's SO frustrating listening to music that comes in and out when I'm finally able to get the new app to work. It's beyond frustrating.

S3 Collapses App
I did the recent update and afterwards, anytime I click on my S3 the app shuts down. Very disappointed. B&O products are top notch, but so much that is important now in a connected world is just so wrong here, and I have no idea why that is. I have 3 B&O products in my home representing a significant expense, and as much as I love the qualities of each, things like the inability to make them work properly as even the basest of today’s electronics seems beyond one of the great stereo makers of the world’s abilities. You need better IT people. It’s an investment, but you need to address these things in order to remain relevant in today’s market. I’m disappointed having to write a review like this, but your currency in technology is deeply lacking, and prevents me from expanding within your product line further than I already have as I have little faith in obtaining something whose use I can enjoy without multiple expletives trying to engage with it.

We cannot reach your product
I can’t connect to the app even though I am connected and listening to music. Every time I try to connect to the app, the message I get is “we cannot reach your product.” I didn’t experience such issues with the previous app. What is the point in creating a new app that is inferior to the new product. Good product but terrible app.

How can you skip the stereo?
Update of my review last February:
On and off I have tried to see if the app has improved. Long time ago I stopped using it regularly, as it just lead to frustration. Today, 10 months after my first review, the app still destroys a good stereo experience with two Beoplay A1’s. The scene:
1) Both A1’s updated with most recent software
2) iOS device and loudspeakers max. 30cm apart and paired
3) Both loudspeakers connected with the app
4) Both loudspeakers connected with the app in stereo
If it doesn’t work with the above configuration, it will never work, right?
It doesn’t work! From time to time the right channel falls out - either completely or partly (maybe it could just as well be the left one, if the pairing had been done in reversed order). Every music experience gets annoying, so I have to listen to the small loudspeakers from either iPhone or iPad. At least the stereo works then.
Looking through the reviews everybody seem to have connection problems.
The developers comment from the most recent update, that in this update they had focused on connectivity must be a joke or wishful thinking.
If you cannot allocate sufficient resources to get the app to work as intended and described is a choice of yours, but it doesn’t suit your reputation well to drop a good working app, before you introduce a similar or better. We as customers haven’t got what was promised.
This morning the "old" app came up with a message suggesting to start using this app, as the previous would stop working early 2019.
How can you suggest us to migrate to such an unfinished app? I have four Beoplay A1, which I have bought to be able to listen in stereo two different locations. Now only one can play at a time. Restricted to mono in 2019? This is a huge unacceptable step backwards.
I will uninstall now and revert to the previous app, and I sincerely hope you keep it working. If not, you have destroyed a part of my music system.
The comment about working together with another team about connectivity is a internal matter, which can only lead to us as consumers to think of sitting between two chairs. Instead you could have waited with new introductions until they have an acceptable quality.

Worst app ever
Seriously? Beg for a connection for the 6th million time in a day? Just give up on your products. If this is the effort you guys are putting in, honestly just give it up. Of course, but a speaker that’s worth 2k and let it sit there for years. I don’t see ANYTHING that is positive on your apps and stuff. GIVE UP BEFORE YOU SCAM MORE MONEY.
