2. Electro-Harmonix, a pioneer since 1968 in the field of sound effects pedals for musicians, has produced an app which is a faithful digital re-creation of their circa 1980 analog cult-classic, The MINI-SYNTHESIZER.

3. - TUNE knob lets the player tune the MINI-SYNTHESIZER to other instruments and sound sources over a +/- 50 cents range.

4. - REVERB>DELAY switch lets the user place either Delay or Reverb first in the effects chain for a variety of cool sound effects.

5. - The MINI SYNTH runs at 48 kHz sample rate; using the MINI SYNTH in an environment with 44.1 kHz sample rate (such as Garageband for iOS) may cause aliasing.

6. - RIBBON Interface lets the player perform portamento (glide up or down to pitch), vibrato and other expressive playing.

7. The easy-to-use Electro-Harmonix MINI-SYNTHESIZER App is loaded with great sounds and features and is sure to appeal to serious musicians and non-musicians alike.

8. - Presets saved in the standalone app cannot be accessed when using the MINI SYNTH as an AudioUnit, and vice versa.

Disappointing

Needs update patch ASAP!

Audio crackles no matter what you do. Electro-Harmonix, please give this app the patch fix it deserves. This app is the only way I will likely ever be able to use the iconic App-Synthesizer in my lifetime. Please help us out with a solution!

Crackling sound

I really want to like this app, but there are some audio engine issues on my iPhone 6s - lots of high frequency crackles on all of the presets make it unusable for anything serious, and unpleasant for anything playful.

I expected better...

I wanted to like this, I really did. Unfortunately the audio quality is just ok and the level seems low. The biggest issue though is the fact that there is very audible constant crackling the whole time I'm playing the synth. It's even crashed a couple times on my iPhone 7 Plus already and I've only had it not even a full day. Not what I have come to expect from anything carrying the Electro-Harmonix name.

Disappointing

I use EHX products in real life quite frequently and have always been impressed by their intuitive interfaces and versatility. Unfortunately this synth app is neither. It is slow to respond, lacks a piano roll, which would make the speed issue less of a problem.
