1. iQamous (Qamous meaning Dictionary in Arabic) is the first Arabic translation application that uses text recognition, optimal character recognition technology (OCR) and augmented reality to identify English printed text and instantly translate words into Arabic on the device’s screen.

2. iQamous uses built-in cameras on smartphones to quickly recognize English text, such as that found in a sign, on a product or a menu, and then translate and display the words in Arabic language on your smartphones screen, eliminating the need to manually type in the text.
