1. Organizations like the North Shore Mountain Bike Association (NSMBA) and local governments such as the District of North Vancouver and Metro Vancouver, work together to formalize, maintain and grow the existing trail network.

2. This guide gives you two locals’ perspective on the North Shore trail network, and we have made an effort to describe a wide range of trails that can accommodate all skill levels.

3. The current challenge is to expand the mountain bike trail diversity to provide more accessible trails that will attract riders of all abilities.

4. Vancouver’s North Shore trails are technically challenging, but there are those days when it all comes together and the results are magic.

5. This inherent ongoing challenge fuels our passion and makes it our favourite place to ride.

6. If it’s one thing the ‘Shore’ is lacking, it is easier trails, but everybody will find something fun to ride.
