2. Using an interactive cross hair you can trace the outline of any feature visible on the map, creating a series of connected points the area and perimeter are continuously updated.
3. Samples provided include Indianapolis Race Track, The Nurburgring, Old Trafford Football Pitch and the outline of France.
4. Can be switched between Metric and Imperial units (hectares, sq.km. sq.m, acres, sq.miles, sq.yrds, sq.ft) at any time, and can be switched from measuring areas to simple lengths.
5. The cross-hair includes a radius indicator that can be scaled dynamically to quickly size features on the map whilst tracing.
6. Measurements can be saved locally as tracks and then can be opened and viewed within the app or can be emailed in KML or Microsoft Excel format.
7. The email message also includes a summary of the dimensions and a picture of the track.
