1. Pass your Firefighter Exam with flying colors! Boost your confidence in passing the first time with our mobile app and a personal study plan based on your current skill and requirements.
2. Once the exam is completed, you are considered to be a Firefighter Applicant and your name will be put on a civil service list based on the order of performance and other factors.
3. The exam includes multiple-choice questions that test reading, problem-solving, and applying rules and concepts.
4. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
5. The Firefighter Exam does not require you to have any special knowledge of firefighting or the Fire Department.
6. Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are billed at the rate and period selected depending on the subscription plan.
7. Users’ accounts are charged for auto-renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
8. Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal can be turned off in Account Settings in iTunes after the purchase.
9. Once you pass the written test, you also must do an in-person interview with FDNY Officers.
10. Candidates will then be called to take the physical portion of the exam.
11. The Applicant also will undergo a medical and psychological evaluation, a drug screening, and a background check.
