1. In the process of using the Rocket Thrusters, Iron Fists and Reinforced Robotic Arms (RRA) her father had given her, Mapui starts helping out her friends, her neighbours and eventually anyone in town who needs help.
2. Mapui Kawlim was just a regular teenage girl living a normal life until her father decided to give her some state-of-the-art gadgets to try out.
3. So, her father figures out that she needs a super secret superhero identity, WingStar, if she has to have any privacy or any semblance of a normal life.
4. Mapui Kawlim is a 13-year-old girl from the town of Aizwa in Mizoram, loosely based on Aizawl.
5. WingStar is Tinkle’s (and perhaps the country’s) first reluctant superhero who made her debut in the 35th Anniversary issue.
6. Meet WingStar aka Mapui Kawlim.
7. Tashi Kawlim is an inventor, working on various projects for the Space Development Arm, SDA, of the government.
8. She’s currently studying in the 8th standard and comes from a middle class family.
9. But she soon realizes that she’s left with no time for herself or for the things she likes to do.
