1. The tool has a bank of built in questions that assesses the following topic areas using 7 different engaging activities: Economic change/development, Ecosystems, Natural hazards, Resources (food, energy and water), UK Physical Landscapes, Urban and Weather hazards and climate change.
2. Whether you are a member of staff or a student, the tool enables you to identify strengths and areas to develop within the Geography curriculum.
3. The app has been built to identify areas of strength and weakness within Geography and to accurately display this information to the learner and to class teachers.
4. The built in scoreboard feature enables schools to quickly monitor the use both at staff and student level.
5. Please note, this application is for PiXL school members only and you will need to get your school id from your teacher if your school is a member of the PiXL club.
6. This apps has been designed to support students who are 11-16 years old.
7. One of the strongest parts of the app is the ability to promote engagement.
