Gastro oesophageal reflux disease, or GERD more commonly known as Acid reflux, heartburn, is a digestive disorder that affects the lower oesophageal sphincter (LES), the ring of muscle between the oesophagus and stomach.Many people, including pregnant women, suffer from heartburn or acid indigestion caused by GERD.

3. The information provided in this app is meant to help people get informed about different symptoms and triggers for GERD.

6. In most cases, GERD can be relieved through diet and lifestyle changes; however, some people may require additional medication or surgery.

7. It is designed to easily and quickly register your reflux including symptoms, medications that you took.

8. Doctors believe that some people also suffer from GERD due to a condition called hiatal hernia.
