2. An IECEx Certificate of Personnel Competence demonstrates to the International Ex industry that a Certified Person has been found to operate procedures that provide confidence that the work undertaken complies with IECEx requirements and with the requirements of the relevant IEC Standard (s).

3. IECEx Certificates of Personnel Competence are issued by approved IECEx Certification Bodies (ExCBs).
