1. The Rideau Canal is a navigable channel connecting Ottawa, Canada's capital city, to Kingston on Lake Ontario.

2. This 125 miles waterway is a Historic Site of Canada and an Unesco World Heritage Site and consists of a chain of lakes, rivers and canals through the province of Ontario.

3. A page of each lockstation contains a short description of the locks, a diagram of the station and links to Rideau-Info and Parks Canada websites for additional information.

4. Paddling routes are based on Watson's Paddling Guides to the Rideau Canal from the same website.

5. The app shows on the province map the main navigation route and the location of locks and marinas along the canal.

6. Ken maintains the well know website which provides extensive information about the canal.

7. Let your family, friends and other users follow your trip along the canal.

8. Cycling routes are based on the Self-Guiding Cycling Tours from Rideau-Info.

9. Warning : this app does not replace nautical charts and specialized publications.

10. Watson who detains all rights over the pictures and diagrams.

11. Ken is also author of many books about the Rideau.
