2. Motion is also a research study that uses ResearchKit, CareKit and HealthKit to learn more about musculoskeletal health and recovery after surgery.
3. Motion integrates with the Health app to show you your activity levels at each stage of your recovery.
4. You also can keep track of your pain, pain medication usage, activity and joint health before and after surgery.
5. The Motion app can also help you find providers at Michigan Medicine for treatment of your hip and knee conditions, find a location close to you and request an appointment online.
6. Motion will show you the information you need to know each day including the rehabilitation program for a rapid recovery.
7. Motion is your guide to hip and knee arthritis and joint replacement.
8. With your permission, we will use the information you provide about your recovery to guide the care we provide to patients like you in the future.
9. You can participate in the study even if you don't have any joint pain or symptoms.
10. Your data is really valuable to establish the ideal health state for comparisons.
